Jason Markusen is an entrepreneur, leadership strategist, and business builder based in Fargo/West Fargo, North Dakota. With more than two decades of experience in education, coaching, and organizational leadership, he has built a career centered on culture development, motivation, and performance growth. Jason is the Owner and CEO of Energized 4 Life, a global online business focused on leadership development, personal growth, and building high-performance mindsets. Through this platform, he works with individuals and teams seeking clarity, accountability, and sustainable success. A graduate of the University of North Dakota (Summa Cum Laude) and North Dakota State University, where he earned both a Master’s (M.Ed.) and Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership with a 4.0 GPA, Jason’s foundation is rooted in discipline and academic excellence. For 25 years, Jason worked in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. During that time, he helped lead schools and athletic programs to district, state, and national-level recognition. His work consistently emphasized positive culture, leadership alignment, and measurable performance outcomes. In addition to his work in education, Jason has been involved in multiple entrepreneurial ventures. He was part of the founding team behind Quiver, an app designed to support engagement and practical use across educational and business settings. He also launched You Matter Marketing and Top Gun Leadership, experiences that helped shape his business philosophy. Today, his primary professional focus is Energized 4 Life, where he blends leadership principles, mindset strategy, and operational insight to help others elevate their performance. Outside of business, Jason is passionate about sports and coaching. A lifelong supporter of the Minnesota Vikings, Timberwolves, Wild, and Twins, he values teamwork, competition, and preparation. He also enjoys traveling with his three sons and has a long-standing passion for music and ballroom dancing, which he participated in and taught for over a decade. Jason believes leadership begins with integrity, culture is built through consistency, and growth happens when accountability meets opportunity.
